About Usalama

Who We Are?

Usalama SACCO Ltd is a work based saving and credit co-operative society. Its membership is limited to employees of Internal Security Organization (Office of the President) and retired members of staff who wish to remain members.
It was established by the members and registered by the Registrar of Cooperative Societies under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and cooperatives on 26th March 2004 registration certificate no: 6996/RCS. Its purpose was to liberate ISO fraternity from exorbitant credit that were formerly being offered by commercial banks and money lenders but equally to inculcate a saving culture.
The SACCO is member owned and controlled with the AGM as its apex body. It is governed by the Board of Directors who are elected by the shareholders.
